Thomas Famawa is the current president of the Cameroonian Association in Philadelphia. He has been a member of this association for the past 13 years. Through his leadership, the present executive board has put forward a project to build a Cameroonian Cultural Center in Philadelphia, where cameroonian would be able to showcase their culture and more importantly smooth integration of newcomer cameroonian in the city of brotherly love through compassion, love, kindness, information and education. As a nurse practitioner, he brings a set skill of nursing to better assist or help members of his community.
Created back in July of 2005, the ACPE is currently 501-C3 non-profit organization with cultural, educational, and social purposes.
